The First Presbyterian Resale Shop in Valpo is hosting a Give Back to the Community Day on Saturday, May 22 for Team BARC.
The shop has been a part of historic downtown Valparaiso since 1942. After shop operating expenses, all shop proceeds are donated to about 15 local service charities, and about eight national and denominational agencies. They also provide clothing to those in need through referral by local social service agencies and schools.
The First Presbyterian Resale Shop carries gently used clothing, toys, books, handbags, jewelry, holiday items, shoes, home goods, linens, antiques, other collectibles, small furniture items (such as plant stands, coat racks, etc.) and much more! Their slogan is "Your help, helps us, help others"! So come help them and the rescue dogs of BARC.
